This artwork “Fuffows and Boy” is an outstanding work by artist Jahangir Hossain. The artist interests lie in the relationships we have with one another and the environment in which we live. The subject of his works rotates around man and nature entailing geometric forms and lines in subdued and ethereal colors. This painting is particularly inspired by nature’s ability to act as a positive, grounding force and visually expressed in the form of abstract figures carefully interwoven into the fabric of the landscapes that surround it. Traditional themes and rural scenes such as women fetching water with clothes painted in blue, red, yellow ochre, grey, umber and purple neat swirls of strokes or tending to cattle rickshaws in the old city are painted stylistically.

He also used such colors that make other colors spoil when used together in a painting; he used them with such a skill that the outcome is brilliant.
