This artwork focuses on the relationship between man and nature

This artwork “Fuffows and Boy” is an outstanding work by artist Jahangir Hossain. The artist interests lie in the relationships we have with one another and the environment in which we live. He believes that it is vital for this relationship to be harmonious and balanced if it is to improve our sense of happiness and well-being. The subject of his works rotates around man and nature entailing geometric forms and lines in subdued and ethereal colors.  This painting is particularly inspired by nature’s ability to act as a positive, grounding force and visually expressed in the form of abstract figures carefully interwoven into the fabric of the landscapes that surround it. Traditional themes and rural scenes such as women fetching water with clothes painted in blue, red, yellow ochre, grey, umber and purple neat swirls of strokes or tending to cattle rickshaws in the old city are painted stylistically.
