This painting “Underwater” is an outstanding work by artist Ranchhor Meghwal. His pots are simple and all of them are in one round shape that is what he calls “Shunya”. Everyone has a Shunya. In the beginning it seems that these pots has an everlasting relationship with humankind, but these pots does not represent history or poems, they have a lot more to say in different words. They don’t need a beautiful village girl to be carried on head, in fact they have their own world, they are able to do everything by their own. These pots are very much alive, and performs as an elements, mother, or pilgrims, they are comfortable in every color and shapes. The artist considered these pots as human forms. They represent in different sizes, color, shapes & conditions like humans of different heights, skins, physique & ages.
