Usha’s works totally depict the experiences with different kind of people she met during her growing up days. The sights and emotions she experienced during those exposures and the enchanting rural scenes of her native place have influenced my works. Her inspiration could come from the news papers, books, cinema, photographs and people that she meets in daily life. Her works till now have been direct and objective. To bring before my viewers the life and beauty of very ordinary experiences which we often fail to notice in our daily life has been my constant effort through my works of art. Her favourite medium for paintings is water colours,oils,pastels and charcoals .My sculptures are mostly in bronze though she likes to work in wood,fiberglass and terracotta too. “Creating each work has given me great joy and after each piece is done I feel great elation and feel more alive. I hope I have succeeded in passing on a little of that to my viewers.” She has done several solo and group exhibitions in the past.
