NitinNangare – Artzest

Nitin Nangare

Nitin Nangare graduated at the top of his class in art in 1990 and proceeded to show his work in group as well as solo shows in India and abroad. He has been awarded the Bombay Art Society award as well as The Art Society of India award among many others. Nangare primarily paints 'urbanscapes', that is the living environment of modern day cities. His canvases teem with contemporary buildings and houses that are clustered together and cramped for space. Nangare chooses to omit the figures that inhabit these dwellings - it is the space, the form and the structure that fascinate him.
