An artist faces continuous waves of queries, ideas, thoughts that overflow in the mind and heart. I am contented that, when I sculpt my heart is my mind. My inquisitive mind is intensely passionate, introspective and always self evaluating in a constant hunt to transcend the human circumstances through my creations. I try to assimilate my understanding of art and collective consciousness of the people around me. My sculptures demonstrate versatility to aesthetic, social, psychological and emotional aspects of existence. Hence I am obsessed by subjects like games, life styles, trends in society. The very first expressions that arise in my mind on looking at the skills man who is expert in his area, comes automatically into my sculpture in the form of appreciation.
Elongated figures, smooth application, periodic textures, linear arrangements, speed, balance, preciseness in expressions are the highlights of my style of work. I would like to mention specially that the gymnastic figures that I sculpt all portray the flexibility, fitness, energy level, activeness, body glow that is present in the gymnastic player and it genuinely fascinates me. If at all I have to mention my master inspiration then I would say my friend Sanjiivv Sankpal then I follow Henry Moore, Rodin. I feel my works should always pay tributes to my seniors. I aim at evolving myself as a sculptor who sculpts sculptures as a treat for art lovers. And I want to be known as the Indian sculptor with international overtones.
