I am experimenting with various compositions, colours and lines in the backdrop of my in-depth understanding of our history and tradition. Along with my works on traditional forms and elements, I also made use of many modern themes which could be explained as a happy marriage of tradition and modernity. This blend of tradition and modernity is tried at various levels thereby opening the flood gates of creative possibilities within me. In supporting of my themes I tends to use vibrant colours. Keeping the main theme of my work in mind I go with on adding smaller images. Various dimensions of the main them could be gazed through different layers. And in terms of the dimensions of paintings one can see an element of transparency in figures while trying to do these experiments in my works, I always in my mind an image of great achievers, who always almost applies my mind, body and spirit to the task which i takesup for myself to accomplish. I will give a finishing touch to my works in my own creative way through my understandings of the tradition of North Karnataka life coupled with it I am fairly good understanding of post Vijayanagara Style and the attires of Peshwa period of our history. In my effort to innovate with the times, but with a zeal to retain the connection with tradition, I make use of powerful images through small figures, a prominence on lines and also a total control on lines is a hallmark of my works Keepings in view the main theme I could remodel and restructure any tradition for working out my style.
