M A Bukhari
In the last 20years Mohammad Ali Bukhari has emerged as a powerful landscapist, calligrapher and semi-abstract compositionist. A former student of Rabia Zuberi's Karachi School of Art, Bukhari has beautifully branched into a consummate impressionist during his 2 years training in Rome's Albuman School of Arts. Well known for the use of bright colors which make his works prominent, his brush strokes on the canvas speak of his mastery and facility in painting. His individualistic Arabic calligraphy style in "Ism-E-Azam" compositions has drawn attention of the collectors. This technique has paid off well, each work acquires sharply delineated aesthetic-decorative depth and swell each letter and work as a whole, making his "Ism-E-Azam" more enjoyable for those who relish grace and beauty of Arabic script. Bukhari has had 16 solo and many group shows in the country and abroad. Bukhari has intelligently combined modern cubism and Arabic word. He had shown in London, Los Angeles, Florida, Kuala Lumpur, Istanbul, Dubai, Pakistan and his collections have reached all over. ART EDUCATION
